Helpful Information Regarding Animals within the Community, November 5, 2021

Recently, the District has received several reports of dogs being off-leash within the community, and on at least one recent occasion an off-leash dog has attacked another dog. Additionally, a dead deer was recently reported to management and was noted to be located in the street at the community entrance of Powhaton Rd. & Mineral Dr. Please be reminded that all pets are required to be leashed when outside of an owner’s lot according to the Declaration and that all pets are subject to the City of Aurora’s ordinances. Please contact the City of Aurora regarding unleashed pets or aggressive animals. Additionally, all streets within the community belong to the City of Aurora. Therefore, any dead animals on any street within the community should be reported to the City of Aurora to ensure expedient removal.
