My name is Laura Lunsford-Elson and my husband Gary and I have been homeowners in Blackstone since 2020.. I have served on the Blackstone Metro District social committee for the last year, Gary is happily retired, and I am a professor of Nursing at Galen College of Nursing in Aurora and have been a nurse for over 20 years. Together we have 10 children and 10 grandchildren who all live in the Denver area.  
I enjoy volunteer opportunities that help better our schools and community. I am also a small business owner -florist and event planning. My skills came in handy when planning the weddings for our 5 daughters! Gary and I do not play golf, so we enjoy other events within the community that allows us to get to know our neighbors a little better. and we very much enjoy the events sponsored by the social committee.
