Dear homeowners and residents,

Notice of Vacancy on Board of Directors

A vacancy currently exists on the Board of Directors (“Board”) of the Blackstone Metropolitan District. If you are interested in serving on the Board, you are encouraged to submit a Letter of Interest. The Board will review the letters of interest at the November board meeting, tentatively set for November 17, 2022.

The District is generally responsible for the operation and maintenance of parks/playgrounds, trails, and open space, as well as for covenant enforcement within the Blackstone Community. Additional information about the District is posted on the District’s website: https://bmd.specialdistrict.org/

If interested, please complete the letter of interest included below. Interested candidates must submit their letter of interest no later than 5 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Letters of interest may be returned by email to: BlackstoneMetro@westwindmanagement.com, or sent by mail (or hand-delivered) to Blackstone Metro District c/o Westwind Management Group 27 Inverness Drive East, Englewood CO 80112. Management must receive your letter by the above deadline for consideration by the Board. Any letters of interest submitted past the deadline will not be considered to fill the Board vacancy.

Please note that in order to serve on the Board, you must be registered to vote in Colorado and one of the following:

A resident of the District
The owner (or the spouse/civil union partner of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated within the boundaries of the District
A person who is obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property within the District

Blackstone Metropolitan District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations.
