Long-awaited, much-anticipated Blackstone Community Garage Sale is TOMORROW!!!!

A few items:

2. Not on the list? PM me to see if we can add you. The deadline was this morning (Thursday 7/14).

3. We have put up large signs at the corners of Powhaton/Smoky Hill and Powhaton/County Line. Smaller signs will be at each of the entrances into Blackstone. They are brighter than in years past so people SHOULD be able to see them.

4. If you want to make your house stand out to people who might not be using the map, you may use balloons, signs, etc. We are not able to provide signs for each house.

5. The Community Garage Sale has been advertised in multiple local sites (other communities, southlands groups, garage sale sites, nextdoor, etc).

6. Please do NOT post your items on the main Neighbors of Blackstone Facebook page. If you would like to post them for fellow neighbors, please use the Blackstone Bargains and Freebies group!

7. WE HAVE A DUMPSTER! The dumpster will be dropped off in the Clubhouse parking lot on Monday morning, 7/18 and will be picked up on Tuesday, 7/19. Please follow the rules on the attached flyer for items that you may/may not dispose of (please, please read the flyer before you head to the dumpster). ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT PUT ITEMS OUTSIDE THE BIN. If you are unable to lift it into the bin and/or it’s full when you arrive, please do NOT leave it on the side or hanging out of the top. Your social committee will have to figure out what to do with these extra items and we don’t particularly want to dig in everyone’s trash. So, please be a good neighbor. 🙂
